On December 14, the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee held a meeting with Party committees, secretaries and deputy secretaries of military units at the commune level in the province to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024).
Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Anh Tuan sent his best wishes to the comrades of the Party Committees, Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries of the Military at the commune level in the province on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army.
Briefly reporting on the province's socio-economic development achievements, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan emphasized: In 2024, the province's economy continued to flourish and was the first year in the 2020-2025 term to achieve 19/19 targets set by the Provincial People's Council.
State budget revenue reached over 33,500 billion VND; foreign investment attraction reached over 5 billion USD, ranking first in the country; completed 26/26 zoning plans and was the first locality in the country to cover the 1/2000 planning.
Bac Ninh is currently one of two localities with no poor households according to the Central Government's multidimensional poverty standards; implementing the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for people with meritorious services and those in difficult circumstances.
Commence and complete key and strategic transport infrastructure projects to create a connecting space to promote the province's development. The fields of culture, education and health continue to be strengthened; Bac Ninh is also the first locality to issue a Resolution to support teachers, students at vocational training institutions, universities to train high-quality human resources and the semiconductor industry to serve the digital industry.
Sharing about the orientation for 2025, the Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee said that the province will focus on building a project to upgrade Bac Ninh to become a type 1 urban area and a centrally-run city; implementing strategic transport projects; completing the goal of building new rural areas; creating a breakthrough in the field of digital transformation; continuing to handle environmental pollution in industrial clusters and craft villages; organizing a "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful - Regular" barracks competition...
The Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee also acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the provincial armed forces in the past year, contributing to ensuring national defense and security, maintaining security and order in the area, serving the overall socio-economic development of the province.

In the coming time, the Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee proposed that the Provincial Military Party Committee study and refer to the experiences of localities to soon have a framework to guide the activities of the Commune-level Military Party Cells, provide handbooks to Party cell committee members; consolidate the system of militia and self-defense forces, develop a party development plan, and create a source of party members for the Commune-level Military Party Cells.
