When she heard that she was one of the 96 outstanding Party cell secretaries nationwide honored on the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3), Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue Phuong - Secretary of the Party Cell, Principal of An Hiep Kindergarten (An Ninh commune, Can Tho city) - happily said: "That is the common joy of the whole collective, not just individuals".
Ms. Phuong said that for more than 12 years of working at An Hiep Kindergarten, in the position of Party Cell Secretary from 2012 to now, she has always clearly identified: building a clean and strong Party cell is the foundation for improving the quality of education. Party cell meetings are organized seriously but openly, promoting the spirit of self-criticism and criticism; each party member is clearly aware of the responsibility to set an example in performing professional tasks.
If the collective wants to move forward, the head must do it first, do it honestly. When party members are exemplary, teachers will believe, and parents will be united," Ms. Phuong shared.
From that example, the Party Cell of An Hiep Kindergarten has excellently completed its tasks for many consecutive years, especially in the 2022-2025 period, reaching 4 consecutive years. Party member development work is focused on, each year admitting 2-3 new Party members, ensuring quality, creating a source of inheritance for the Party organization at the grassroots level.
Not only is she the person "keeping the rhythm" in Party work, Ms. Phuong is also a dedicated and professionally knowledgeable principal. Under her direction, An Hiep Kindergarten has excellently completed its tasks for 5 consecutive years, especially 2 consecutive years of being honored with the Emulation Flag of the former Soc Trang Provincial People's Committee.
Ms. Phuong said that in recent years, the school has focused on innovating management work, promoting digital transformation, and improving the quality of nurturing, caring for and educating children. The school has achieved national standard level 2; successfully organized many provincial-level thematic programs, notably the thematic program "Strengthening Vietnamese for ethnic minority children based on mother tongue", which was highly appreciated and replicated by the sector.
Preschool education is the first brick for human character. Working with young children, it is even more necessary to do it with heart, with patience and long-term responsibility," Ms. Hue Phuong confided.
In parallel with professional tasks, in the period 2018-2024, the school has mobilized more than 700 million VND for socializing education, caring for the lives of officials and teachers and social security activities, contributing to spreading the spirit of responsibility for the community.
With persistent and effective contributions, from 2014 to now, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue Phuong has excellently completed her tasks for 11 consecutive years, and has been recognized by all levels with many noble forms of commendation, including the honor of receiving a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister (in 2018) and the Third-class Labor Medal from the President (in 2025).
