On April 22, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai visited and encouraged households affected by the landslide that occurred in hamlet 13, Tan Thanh ward.
At the visit, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Ho Hai cordially inquired and shared difficulties with the affected households, hoping that people would soon stabilize their accommodation, gradually restore their lives, and feel secure in working and production.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested local leaders to urgently review the extent of damage, deploy practical and timely support measures; and at the same time develop long-term plans to stabilize people's lives.
In addition, localities need to proactively monitor the diễn biến of landslides, have solutions to prevent and limit the risk of recurrence, and ensure the safety of people's lives and property.
In order to share difficulties and help people soon stabilize their accommodation, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee supported each affected household with 5 million VND. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of the province supported 4 households with completely collapsed houses, each household with 1 house worth 60 million VND; supported 30 million VND for 2 households to repair houses.

As Lao Dong newspaper reported, at about 2 am on April 21, a landslide occurred on the Cong Chua trail, nearly 30m long, more than 12m deep into the mainland. The incident completely collapsed 4 houses, 2 adjacent houses were seriously affected, and forced to be urgently relocated. Total property damage is estimated at 900 million VND. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
