According to information from Tan Thanh Ward People's Committee, the landslide occurred at about 2 am in hamlet 13. The landslide point is nearly 30m long, eating more than 12m deep into the mainland, causing great property damage to people.
The incident completely collapsed 4 houses, 2 adjacent houses were seriously affected and forced to be urgently relocated. Estimated total property damage is about 900 million VND. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Local people said that about 3 days before the incident, many cracks appeared in the house foundation and traffic roads in this area. Recognizing unusual signs, some households proactively moved their property out. However, the landslide occurred unexpectedly at night, so many belongings had not been moved in time.
Immediately after the incident occurred, leaders of the Party Committee and People's Committee of Tan Thanh ward were present at the scene, directing functional forces to support people to move property and arrange temporary accommodation for affected households.
Local authorities also continue to relocate the property of 2 households located in areas at high risk of landslides, and at the same time recommend that people regularly monitor unusual signs such as wall cracks, land subsidence to promptly report to functional agencies and move to a safe place.
