On September 22, at the hall of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Nha Trang ward, Delegation No. 1 of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council led by Mr. Tran Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and delegates met with voters in Nha Trang and Tay Nha Trang wards before the 3rd Session of the 8th Provincial People's Council, term 2026-2031.
At the meeting, representatives of Delegation No. 1 of the Provincial People's Council informed voters about the expected program of the 3rd Session; results of the 8th Provincial People's Council sessions; results of resolving and responding to voters' recommendations sent to the 2nd Session and the socio-economic situation of Khanh Hoa province in the first 8 months of the year, key tasks and solutions for September 2026.
Voters in the two wards proposed that levels and sectors have solutions to manage the flood discharge process; soon dredge the riverbed, clear the flow in some areas such as Kim Bong and Ba Ve rivers to increase flood drainage capacity.
Voters also proposed allocating capital to build more schools, upgrade traffic roads in residential areas; strengthen security and order, and traffic safety.
Some other issues reflected include considering garbage collection points in Vinh Diem Trung Urban Area because they are located near schools; noise pollution near Nguyen Thien Thuat apartment complex and requesting the termination of "suspended" projects to stabilize people's lives.
At the meeting, delegates of the Provincial People's Council exchanged and clarified some contents. Leaders of Nha Trang Ward People's Committee, Tay Nha Trang Ward and Provincial Police informed and explained recommendations under their authority.
Accepting voters' opinions, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Phong requested the leaders of the two wards to resolve the legitimate aspirations of the people.
Regarding the contents under the authority of wards and departments, the Provincial Party Secretary requested urgent review, inspection, and thorough resolution.
In which, there are issues of planning, policies, investment in flood drainage works, and urban embellishment.
Regarding issues under the authority of the province and central agencies, Delegation No. 1 of the Provincial People's Council recorded, summarized and gave opinions to competent agencies for consideration and resolution.
Provincial Party Secretary Tran Phong especially noted the review of planning that has been prolonged for many years and has not been implemented.
According to him, from December 2025, the province has issued a general directive requiring communes, wards and residential areas to review the entire planning, identify suitable and inappropriate plans for adjustment, ensuring the legitimate rights of the people.
Regarding issues related to regimes and policies, the Provincial Party Secretary requested departments and branches to proactively review and guide people to complete dossiers and resolve them in accordance with regulations, without waiting for the delegation to transfer petitions.
The Provincial Party Secretary also requested people and authorities to raise their responsibility to protect the environment, propagate and remind each other to maintain hygiene in the locality.
In particular, Mr. Tran Phong requested voters to strictly implement local directions and instructions on relocation and evacuation from key areas when there are floods.
