On June 4, Mr. Tran Van Lau - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the 16th National Assembly Delegation of Vinh Long province - and the working delegation came to survey the coastal area of Thanh Hai commune.
The working delegation surveyed Con Bung tourist area, coastal infrastructure system and areas that need to be invested in and renovated in the near future.

Locally, the Secretary of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee and the working delegation offered incense at the Relic of the Unnumbered Ship Team, and at the same time surveyed the reality along the coastal route to assess the current status of infrastructure, tourism development potential, marine economy and conditions serving people's lives.
Through surveys, the Provincial Party Secretary requested departments and branches to urgently review and study the overall planning of about 130km of coastline in the province, ensuring synchronization with traffic infrastructure planning and socio-economic development strategies.

Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that the development of the overall project must be carried out on the basis of actual surveys of each section of the route, thereby selecting appropriate solutions such as soft embankments, solid embankments, tilted embankments, wave-reducing rock shelters and other technical options to protect infrastructure, production and people's livelihoods.
The Provincial Party Secretary also requested functional sectors to continue to study solutions to effectively promote tourism potential and marine economy, associated with synchronous infrastructure investment, creating a foundation for the sustainable development of the province in the coming time.
