On May 14, Mr. Tran Van Lau - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Delegation of National Assembly Deputies of the 16th term of Vinh Long province - worked with the Party Committee of Truong Long Hoa ward on the situation of implementing the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress, the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030 and the results of task implementation in the first 4 months of 2026.
According to local reports, many targets were achieved and exceeded the resolution set out; budget revenue reached 85.3%, new business development reached 128.57%, forest cover rate reached 127.83%, and recruitment work reached 100% of the target.
At the working session, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nhan - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Truong Long Hoa ward - said that the locality has organized 311 propaganda sessions on the resolution with more than 19,300 participants; admitted 21 new party members, reaching 105% of the resolution; newly developed 9 businesses, reaching 128.57% of the target.
Total budget revenue reached more than 72.9 billion VND, equivalent to 85.3% of the resolution; total social investment capital reached more than 374 billion VND. The ward currently has many advantages in developing marine tourism, ecotourism and marine economy.

Truong Long Hoa Ward proposed that the Provincial People's Committee soon upgrade and expand National Highway 53B section from Truc Lam Zen Monastery to the intersection of Duyen Hai Thermal Power Center; and at the same time adjust the planning of forest land to commercial - service land to serve marine economic development and tourism.
The locality also proposed to invest in the Ba Dong coastal corridor road phase 2, build the N5 connecting road, lease the coastal forest environment and level the construction of the Ward Trade Center to promote local tourism and trade.

Speaking to direct, Mr. Tran Van Lau requested the Party Committee of Truong Long Hoa ward to continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the resolutions and conclusions of the Central Government and the Provincial Party Committee; focus on removing bottlenecks in disbursing public investment capital, attracting businesses, developing infrastructure and effectively exploiting marine economic potential.
The Provincial Party Secretary requested localities to review slow-progress projects, promote administrative procedure reform, strengthen digital transformation, and tightly manage public resources, land and public assets.
At the same time, localities need to promote the advantages of marine tourism, renewable energy, logistics, and fishery logistics services; build marine cities associated with environmental protection, maintain national defense and security, and improve people's lives.
The Provincial Party Secretary also requested strict implementation of Regulations No. 11-QD-TW, Conclusion No. 107-KL/TW and Conclusion No. 215-KL/TW of the Politburo on the responsibility of heads in receiving citizens, dialogue and resolving complaints and denunciations of the people.
