On October 25, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Phuong - Deputy Political Commissar of Vinh Hoi Dong Border Guard Station (An Giang Provincial Border Guard Command) - said that the unit is continuing to support local people in cleaning up their houses, moving assets and materials out of flooded areas due to heavy rain.

Previously, at 7:30 p.m. on October 24, in Group 30, Vinh Hoi Hamlet, An Phu Commune, prolonged rain and wind collapsed the house of 2 households. There were no human casualties because the two households went to work far away and were not present in the locality, but the property damage was about 100 million VND.

The unit has sent 11 comrades to coordinate with the police, military and local people to move people's assets to a high, safe place.
