Although not directly affected by the storm, in the sea area of Tho Chau special zone, An Giang province, there will be heavy rain, with big waves and whirlwinds. Especially in residential areas, prolonged rain, high tides, causing local flooding and landslides.

Lieutenant Colonel Tran Van Tu added that in order to prevent the impact of natural disasters that damaged the fish cages of more than 200 households in Bai Dong area, the unit sent a team to support people to tie the fish rafts, reinforce anchor ropes, and tie them against the roofs. Some locations where landslides occurred and boats were washed away by waves, the Border Guard station has proactively coordinated with local forces and authorities to deploy response measures to minimize possible damage.
