The project aims to relocate households in landslide-affected areas due to natural disasters in Tra Cong village and neighboring areas to safe areas before the storm season; to soon stabilize the lives of people in landslide-affected and flash flood-affected areas.
The project has a total investment capital of nearly 45 billion VND (of which the provincial budget supports more than 38.5 billion VND, the rest is from the local budget), with the People's Committee of An Lao district as the investor, the project implementation period is from 2025 - 2027.
The project has a construction investment scale of about more than 4 hectares, of which the area serving resettlement arrangements for 78 households is more than 1.7 hectares, including: Ground leveling items, traffic system, rainwater drainage system, water supply system, wastewater collection and treatment system and lighting and green tree supply system.
As Lao Dong reported, in 2 days (November 23 and 24), An Lao district experienced heavy rain, causing flooding and landslides on many roads in the area.
According to statistics, An Lao district experienced landslides in 8 areas, with a total volume of landslides of more than 1,500 m3 and 14 flooded locations, with a length of about 600 m. Of which, 5 households were directly affected by landslides, the district evacuated 2 households (8 people) to a safe place, the remaining households were supported to overcome on the spot.
The landslides include: Village 3 to Village 2 (An Toan commune), Village 2 to Village 5 (An Nghia commune), Village 5 to Village 6 (An Quang commune), Village 4 to La Vuong (An Hung commune), Village 4 to Village 7 (An Vinh commune), Village 1 to Village 2 (An Vinh commune), An Trung to An Vinh and An Quang commune to An Toan, with landslide lengths ranging from 10m to 30m.
Flooded areas include: Bridge over Trung Hung Economic Zone, spillway bridge from village 3 to village 8 (An Trung commune), spillway bridge from village 7 (An Vinh commune), spillway bridge from Rap village 3 (An Vinh commune), spillway bridge from Xe Ry village 2 (An Toan commune), spillway bridge from village 5 to village 6 (An Quang commune), spillway bridge from village 4 (An Nghia commune), spillway bridge from village 2 (An Nghia commune - 2 locations), 4 connecting roads from DT629 to Tra Cong village residential area and DT629 road.
