On April 4, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province announced that it had approved the investment policy for the construction of the connecting road project from Quy Hoa Science and Education Urban Area (Ghenh Rang Ward, Quy Nhon City) to Long Van Urban Area (in Bui Thi Xuan and Tran Quang Dieu Wards, Quy Nhon City).
The project has a total investment of more than 1,107 billion VND, with implementation period from 2025 to 2028. The route is designed with a maximum speed of 60km/h, with a 12m wide roadbed. This will be a strategic traffic axis, connecting two particularly important urban areas of Quy Nhon City.
The project not only enhances connectivity between urban areas, but also promotes the development of research, innovation and AI development in the area. This is also an opportunity to develop a smart city, while exploiting the potential for scientific research and scientific discovery in Binh Dinh.
This route will also expand the urban space of Quy Nhon City, exploit the ecological potential of Vung Chua mountain area and develop land along the route, creating opportunities for developing sea - mountain experiential tourism.
Previously, at the end of March, Binh Dinh province also held an inauguration ceremony for the road connecting National Highway 19 to Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park, connecting to Quy Nhon port.
The 19.45km long route, passing through An Nhon town and Tay Son and Van Canh districts, is designed according to the standards of a grade III plain road, with a total investment of about VND1,170 billion. This project has exceeded the schedule by 5 months, completed after 19 months of construction.
