Binh Dinh province decided to retain and continue using 227 houses and lands; transfer 22 houses and lands to localities for management and handling; and transfer 57 houses and lands.
For the retained houses and land, Binh Dinh province requires the management agencies and units to use the houses and land effectively, avoid waste; proactively coordinate with local authorities to complete the documents and legal procedures on houses and land according to regulations.
The unit with the transferred house and land is responsible for handing over the assets to the unit receiving the transferred house and land, and accounting for the increase/decrease in assets and the value of the transferred assets within 30 days from the date of the decision.
For transferred houses and land, the units with transferred assets and the receiving unit must hand over, account for, manage and use the assets within 30 days from the date of the decision.
Previously, Binh Dinh province reported to the Ministry of Finance on the review of public assets and office buildings that are not used, used ineffectively, or not used for the right purpose in the province.
Through review, there are currently 327 surplus and unused houses and lands under the management of Binh Dinh province. Of these, the province has approved a plan to handle 178 houses and lands.
For 149 surplus houses and lands, although previously approved for arrangement and handling in the form of "retaining and continuing to use", the province has assigned the Department of Finance to inspect, review, supplement necessary information and submit to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and approval of the handling plan in December 2024.
It is expected that the province will transfer 44 facilities, transfer 40 facilities to local management, handle 40 facilities and reclaim 65 facilities.
