On August 28, the working delegation of the Ministry of Public Security led by Major General Nguyen Hong Nguyen - Deputy Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security worked with the People's Committee of Nghe An province on overcoming the consequences of storm No. 5 at Kim Lien Special National Monument.
At the meeting, Comrade Phung Thanh Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, along with leaders of departments, branches and authorities of Kim Lien commune received and worked with the delegation.

Storm No. 5 formed in the East Sea on August 24, strong at level 13-14, gusting to level 17 and making landfall directly in Nghe An - Ha Tinh on the afternoon of August 25, causing heavy damage to people's lives and the economy - society. At Kim Lien Special National Relic Site alone, many ancient trees were broken, items such as the folk song theater, decorative works, and fences were damaged. The authorities have urgently cleaned up and initially repaired the situation to ensure safety.
Speaking at the meeting, Major General Nguyen Hong Nguyen deeply sympathized with the losses of the province, and praised the drastic participation of the Party Committee, government, police force and functional agencies. He affirmed that the Party Committee of the Ministry of Public Security will accompany and increase human and material resources to support Nghe An province, contributing to the reconstruction of Kim Lien Special National Monument to promptly welcome visitors on the occasion of National Day 2.9.

Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phung Thanh Vinh province expressed his gratitude for the timely attention and support of the Ministry of Public Security, and said that the province will mobilize maximum resources, closely coordinate with functional units to soon comprehensively restore the Kim Lien Special National Monument.
Major General Nguyen Hong Nguyen emphasized that the reconstruction of the relic will be implemented according to the steps of assessment, survey, planning, restoration and consolidation of conservation. Nghe An Police are assigned to coordinate with the Relic Site Management Board to carry out urgent tasks, ensuring the project returns to its original state soon, serving the people and tourists.
