At noon on November 8, a working delegation of the Ministry of Public Security's Office led by Major General Nguyen Hong Nguyen - Deputy Chief of Office, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Civil Defense Steering Committee of the Ministry of Public Security visited and supported essential goods to help Gia Lai people overcome the consequences of storm No. 13.
In Quy Nhon Dong ward, the delegation visited and presented gifts to Ms. Huynh Thi Thoa (60 years old), a single-parent household. During the recent storm, Ms. Thoa's house was severely damaged, the walls collapsed, the roof was completely blown off, and her life is currently in a very difficult situation.
Ms. Thoa was moved: "My house was almost lost, I couldn't sleep all night. I thank the working group very much. With the timely attention and encouragement of the Ministry of Public Security, the people here also feel somewhat comforted.
Also in Quy Nhon Dong ward, the working delegation visited and presented gifts to the shock force of the Provincial Police that is helping people overcome the consequences of storm No. 13.
After 4 days of helping people prevent floods, the shock forces of the Provincial Police in the areas stood shoulder to shoulder, along with the ward police force to support people to overcome the historic storm.

Major General Nguyen Hong Nguyen, Deputy Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security, presented gifts from the Minister of Public Security, and acknowledged and commended the great efforts and determination of the Gia Lai Police force in proactively responding to and helping people in the recent storm.
The delegation also visited and presented gifts to Mr. Nguyen Van Phung (33 years old, in Tuy Phuoc Dong commune), who has 3 young children and a house that was severely damaged by the storm. During the storm night, his family was taken to a safe shelter by the police.
Sharing the difficulties with the people, Major General Nguyen Hong Nguyen requested the police force to review and take measures to propose support for families of people who suffered heavy damage caused by storm No. 13.
With the spirit of responsibility and the highest efforts, this afternoon (November 8) and tomorrow (November 9), relevant units are determined to transfer all relief goods of the Ministry of Public Security to the people in the province affected by the storm.
This emergency relief activity deeply demonstrates the spirit of "When people need it, when people are in need, there is a police"; affirming the role of the People's Public Security force in preventing, combating and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, contributing to stabilizing people's lives, maintaining security and order in areas affected by storm No. 13.
Millions of arms turn to compatriots affected by storms and floods
