According to Lao Dong reporters, the fire broke out on the first floor of CT2 & 3 building in the early afternoon of November 8. Dense black smoke covered the area, causing many residents to panic and evacuate.
The authorities arrived in time, coordinating with the people to control the fire, preventing it from spreading. Security camera footage shows the fire starting at an electric vehicle with a charger, then spreading rapidly to neighboring vehicles.
According to initial information, the fire did not cause any human casualties, but 6 electric vehicles were completely burned, 2 other vehicles were damaged. The fire also spread to the warehouse area located below the building, causing part of the goods and equipment to be burned and damaged.
Many residents said that the first floor of the building was installed with electric vehicle charging stations when they did not meet fire prevention and fighting conditions. Notably, this is said to be done without the consensus of all residents and without being equipped with fire warning equipment and automatic fire extinguishing systems.

"The management board arbitrarily installed charging stations without asking for opinions from all residents, while this area was located right at the foot of the building, close to the entrance. If not handled thoroughly, the risk of fire and explosion can recur at any time. At the same time, the back of the building was blocked, so when it caught fire, fire trucks could still get there. After this incident, we request that the authorities investigate and clearly identify the responsibilities of the parties involved, said Mr. Nguyen Minh (character's name has been changed) - a resident of the building indignantly.

A representative of the burned container warehouse said they are counting the damage and requesting the building management board to remedy the consequences. Accordingly, this unit proposed to compensate for all damages to newly manufactured goods and medical equipment waiting to be handed over to partners under the contract, including arising contract fines, and damage to the warehouse's facilities.
At the same time, the warehouse representative also requested the removal of the entire spontaneous charging station system that did not ensure fire prevention and fighting conditions outside the warehouse, to ensure safety and avoid similar incidents in the future.
The reporter contacted the Management Board of the Dream Town building to verify the fire and the installation of charging stations on the first floor, but has not yet received a satisfactory answer. The representative of the management board said that they do not currently have detailed information about the incident due to not being present at the scene and promised to update after the inspection. However, this answer still makes many residents upset and worried about the potential risk of fire and explosion.
