On the afternoon of September 27, storm No. 10 Bualoi began to directly affect Hue City. Coastal areas will experience heavy rain, strong gusts of wind, and high waves.
To proactively respond, the Hue City Border Guard coordinated with functional forces and local authorities to synchronously deploy measures to ensure the safety of people in vulnerable areas.
From early afternoon, officers and soldiers of Thuan An Border Guard Station, along with militia and local authorities, urgently supported people to build houses and mobilize evacuation before the storm made landfall.

Thuan An Ward has planned to relocate 711 households with 2,471 people to safe shelters; at the same time, inspect and reinforce the Thuan An beach area at risk of landslides.
Currently, coastal border guards are coordinating with localities to support people to build houses, propagate and mobilize people in vulnerable areas to evacuate to safety.
On the mainland border, Quang Nham Border Guard Station mobilized forces to coordinate with the people of Hop Thuong village to harvest rice, transport and store it in a timely manner, limiting damage. Units also review and develop plans to evacuate people to safe places when bad situations occur.
Up to now, all 1,100 ships of Hue City have entered safe shelters. Nearly 99% of the Summer-Autumn rice area has been harvested. The city also plans to relocate about 10,000 households with 33,000 people in coastal areas, lagoons, and high-risk areas to safe shelters.
The Hue City Border Guard currently maintains 380 officers, soldiers and 28 vehicles on duty, ready to move when ordered. Units strengthen inspection and review of areas at risk of landslides and flooding; closely coordinate with local authorities to deploy response plans according to the "4 on-site" motto.
