Bringing election information to the grassroots level
In the atmosphere of the whole country heading towards the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term, units under the Border Guard of the Border Guard (BGB) of Lam Dong province are deploying many widespread propaganda activities in border and island areas.
The border and island areas of the province have a large area, with scattered residents living in villages, hamlets, villages, and hamlets. Therefore, in order for people to fully grasp information about the election, Border Guard units have proactively developed propaganda plans with many rich forms, suitable to the characteristics of each area.

Border Guard stations established working groups to directly go down to the grassroots level, to each village, hamlet, village, residential area, fishing port and crowded places to propagate about election work.
Along with direct propaganda, officers and soldiers also distributed leaflets, documents and used mobile loudspeakers to disseminate basic content related to the election.
In addition, mobile propaganda campaigns have also been widely deployed, bringing clear effectiveness. Border guard officers and soldiers coordinate with commune police, youth union members and local mass organizations to organize propaganda convoys including cars and motorbikes decorated with national flags, panels, and slogans.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Minh Hai - Political Commissar of Tan Thanh Border Guard Station (Lam Dong Provincial Border Guard), mobile propaganda helps people access visual and vivid information, contributing to creating a joyful atmosphere towards the election day.
Linking propaganda with maintaining security
In parallel with propaganda work, border guard units (BĐBP) of Lam Dong province also strengthened measures to ensure security and order in border areas and islands during the election.
Units maintain strict combat readiness duty regimes, proactively coordinate with local authorities and functional forces to firmly grasp the local situation, promptly detect and prevent violations of the law that may affect security and order.
Typically, at 7 pm on March 10, 2026, at polling station No. 18 (Dak Tho village hall, Thuan An commune), Dak Lao Border Guard Station coordinated with Thuan An Commune Police to organize a program to launch the movement "All people protect national security".

At the program, the Border Guard and Police forces propagated to the people contents related to ensuring security and order to serve elections; mobilized people to actively participate in the all-people movement to protect national security, and at the same time called for the handover of weapons, explosives and support tools.
The program attracted 70 people to participate. Through mobilization, people voluntarily handed over 7 types of guns, including 3 air guns, 2 BB guns, 1 homemade flintlock gun, 1 BB gun, along with 1 slingshot and 1 lance.
Lieutenant Colonel Pham Xuan Phuong - Commander of Dak Lao Border Guard Station - said that the program also disseminates many important legal regulations such as regulations on land border areas and the Vietnam Border Guard Law.
According to Colonel Tran Viet Hung - Political Commissar of Lam Dong Provincial Border Guard, with a high sense of responsibility and proactiveness, the Border Guard force is coordinating with local Party committees and authorities to prepare necessary conditions, contributing to ensuring that the election takes place democratically, in accordance with the law, safely and successfully.
