Specifically, in the period from February 19, 2025 to December 10, 2025, Viettel deployed 20,758 5G stations nationwide. At the same time, the Military Industry - Telecommunications Group has completed the new broadcast of 2,011 Viettel Make in Vietnam 5G stations, meeting ORAN standards, in line with the orientation of mastering strategic technology according to Resolution 57-NQ/TW and Decision 1131/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister.

In the document issued on December 22, 2025, the Ministry of Science and Technology affirmed that Viettel has seriously carried out its assigned tasks, actively expanding 5G coverage nationwide. Implementing the digital transformation target according to Resolution 193/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly and Decree 88/2025/ND-CP of the Government, Viettel has focused on implementing and completing the target nearly 3 weeks earlier than planned. It is expected that by the end of 2025, the total number of Viettel's 5G stations will reach 30,000 stations, covering 90% of outdoor areas and 70% of indoor areas, from urban to rural areas, continuing to affirm its position as the largest 5G network in Vietnam.

In addition to the advantage of scale and coverage, Viettel is the only enterprise in Vietnam to deploy a complete 5G SA network, allowing speeds of up to 10 Gbps, extremely low latency, meeting the requirements of implementing key applications such as national defense security, remote healthcare and smart cities. This result has an important contribution to the 5G device ecosystem researched and produced by Viettel itself, affirming Vietnam's high-tech mastery capacity in the telecommunications sector.
