Phu Tho - The banks of Lat stream and the riverbank of village 13 Dong Luan in Tu Vu commune are eroded, affecting traffic and people's safety.

On September 16, Tu Vu Commune People's Committee informed that heavy rain on the day and night of September 15 has caused landslides to continue to occur in some areas of the area. At Lat stream, landslides continue to penetrate deep into the inter-commune asphalt road with a length of about 50m and a width of 2 - 4m.

Notably, the water level flowing into the Lat stream is still rising, flowing strongly, and some more cracks have appeared in the area, and the risk of landslides is still continuing.

Here, Tu Vu Commune People's Committee has arranged standing forces to guide traffic, installing signs prohibiting all cars from circulating on the road. Along with that, stretching ropes and placing warning signs at unsafe locations.

With the riverbank in Dong Luan village 13, the landslide scope continues to arise by about 2-4m towards the land outside the riverbank, which is now close to the residential area of the people. The total length of the landslide scope recorded is about 35m, with the risk of directly affecting the residential land of households.

Faced with the above situation, Tu Vu Commune People's Committee proposed that Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Agriculture and Environment inspect and assess the level of danger, guide safety assurance plans, and soon implement a suitable project so that people in the landslide area can stabilize their lives.

As Lao Dong newspaper reported, previously, at the end of August 2026, the Lat stream bank in Tu Vu commune was also eroded, causing cracks in people's house foundations, with the risk of landslides directly affecting the houses of 3 households living along the stream.
