On the evening of February 18 (the 2nd day of Tet), crowds flocked to worship in the Nga Sau roundabout area of Thu Dau Mot ward, Ho Chi Minh City (Phu Cuong ward, Thu Dau Mot city, formerly Binh Duong province).
Notably, thousands of people lined up to go to worship at Ba Thien Hau Temple on Nguyen Du street, Thu Dau Mot ward.
Recorded from 7 pm, thousands of people jostled to flock to Ba Thien Hau Temple to pray for good luck. The later it got, the more people flocked. Most people followed the instructions to properly implement culture when going to the temple. However, there were still cases of holding a handful of incense to go to the temple.

Due to the small space in the temple, people had to jostle each other. Meanwhile, some people brought many incense sticks into the main hall to burn, causing thick smoke.
Notably, there are cases where people even touch the incense burner and apply it to their heads. Some others collect ashes in the incense burner and then put them in banknotes or lucky money envelopes. These people believe that bringing incense ashes home can bring good luck. Therefore, they try to get a little ash and put it in the banknote to take home.

It is predicted that from now until the full moon of the first lunar month, more people will go to pagodas and temples in the center of Thu Dau Mot. The time when the most people go to pagodas is the full moon of the first lunar month, it is estimated that hundreds of thousands of people from the Southeast region will come here to worship.
It is known that every year, the local government establishes a steering committee for the full moon festival of the first lunar month. This steering committee will coordinate with pagodas and temples to organize festivals that take place in a regular and solemn manner.
