According to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), seafood exports can grow strongly, expected to reach the 10 billion USD mark, or even higher, due to the recovery and adaptability of businesses. However, VASEP also warns of many risks ahead, especially from the fourth quarter of 2025, due to barriers in tariffs, international regulations (such as in the US) and the issue of "IUU yellow card".
However, the agency also said that in November, importers sprung up to import before the US price action took effect. This will increase the prices of exported seafood products.
