According to information from the family, on the afternoon of December 15, 2025, Mr. D.V.T (born in 1947, residing in Thanh Xuan ward) went to exercise at around 3:30 p.m. but had not returned until 6:00 p.m. Worried, at 9:15 p.m. the same day, the family reported the incident to Thanh Xuan Ward Police.
Immediately after receiving the report, Thanh Xuan Ward Police quickly coordinated with the Traffic Police Department - Hanoi City Police to organize a review and trace images from the AI camera system, based on the direction of travel provided by the family.
Following the direction of the Hanoi Traffic Police Department Command, on the night of December 15, Major Nguyen Ta Khanh - an officer of the Traffic Command and Traffic Light Control Team, directly coordinated with Thanh Xuan Ward Police to review camera data.
Thereby, the authorities identified the image of the old man moving along Nguyen Tuan Street, towards Thanh Xuan Park and through many neighboring streets.
From the collected data, Thanh Xuan Ward Police and his family have compiled identification features and posted search information on social networks to ask for support from the community.
At nearly 3:00 a.m. on December 16, 2025, a resident while participating in traffic discovered an old man in the Dich Vong area in a state of hypoglycemia, showing signs of fainting. Immediately afterwards, information was reported to the authorities, and the old man was brought home safely.
On December 16, 2025, Ms. P.T.P - Mr. T's daughter-in-law, represented the family in writing a letter of deep gratitude to the Hanoi Traffic Police Department, Thanh Xuan Ward Police and especially the people for their attention, support and help in finding relatives soon.
