Station officers and soldiers deploy to quickly extinguish forest fires

Ba Ria - Vung Tau - multiple station 2511 of Regiment 251 promptly detected and responded to the forest fire in Long Dat.

On May 1, information from Naval Region 2 said that at 00:57 on the same day, during the patrol, the Station's forces going to phase 2511 of Regiment 251 discovered a fire breaking out in the hilltop area of Phuoc Hoi commune (Long Dat district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province). The soldiers on duty quickly reported to the unit commander.

Regiment 251 urgently mobilized 25 officers and soldiers of Station 2511 to deploy emergency response measures to forest fires. At the same time, immediately contact the professional fire fighting force of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province and local authorities to coordinate rescue.

The on-site fire prevention and fighting plan was also organized by the Station and urgently deployed. Officers and soldiers of Station 2511 proactively used available equipment such as fire extinguishers, fish sauce, incense sticks, etc. to control the fire from the first minutes, preventing the risk of spreading.

At 1:45 a.m. the same day, professional firefighters from Long Dat district arrived, received the scene and coordinated with officers and soldiers of Station 2511 to urgently extinguish the fire.

By 2:04 a.m., the fire was controlled and completely extinguished.
