Regular vaccination for children
According to the Buon Don Commune Health Station, in the first 9 months of 2025, the total number of children under 1 year old who were vaccinated regularly was 81/105 children, reaching 65.35% of the plan.
Of which, the rate of 18-month-old children vaccinated against Measles - Rubella is 86/105 children, reaching 81.90% of the plan. The rate of pregnant women vaccinated with 3 doses of tetanus vaccine reached 86.67% of the plan.

Ms. H Linh Knul (Buon Don commune) said: "I have a small child about 20 months old. After giving birth, the child showed signs of malnutrition and was slow to grow, making me very worried. Fortunately, the commune health workers came to encourage me, so I took my child to the doctor and monitored her health."
At the Commune Health Station, Ms. H Linh's child was examined and instructed on improving nutrition during meals. Medical staff also provide full instructions on vaccination to prevent diseases such as tetanus, pharyngitis, etc. Thanks to that, the couple has become more assured about their children's health, thereby focusing on labor and production.

Not only going to every alley and knocking on every door, the commune health workers also go to schools to promote nutrition, help students prevent diseases, improve health and well-being.
Mr. Doan Quoc Dinh - Director of Buon Don Medical Center - said: "Buon Don commune has a large area, ethnic minorities live in large numbers. Therefore, the center regularly monitors and grasps the health status of people. In particular, the unit urges commune health stations to ensure regular vaccination for children".

Mr. Dinh emphasized: The Center also uses resources from the National Target Program to support localities in training and implementing measures to prevent infectious diseases, improve nutrition, and repel epidemics. If a serious case occurs, the commune health station must immediately transfer it to the upper level for timely treatment".

Mr. Y Nham Nie - Head of Buon Don Commune Health Station - said: "From the beginning of 2025 until now, the unit has advised the Commune People's Committee and the Steering Committee for Epidemic Prevention to implement measures to prevent dengue fever, through propaganda on commune loudspeakers, mobile vehicles, and hanging banners in 7/7 villages and hamlets".
He added: Headquarters are still closely following the area, effectively implementing vaccination activities, improving nutrition for children, and periodic check-ups for mothers. Thanks to that, the health of the community in ethnic minority areas is guaranteed".
