Initial information, at around 11:45 a.m. on December 15, smoke and fire issued from a 12A apartment on the CT8B floor of Dai Thanh apartment building (Dai Thanh commune, Hanoi).
A witness at the scene said that the smoke initially spread to the hallway and had a burning smell. About 15 minutes later, the fire broke out fiercely, coming out of the apartment balcony.
Discovering the fire, many residents rushed down to the lobby and exited by stairs.
The apartment on fire was more than 40 square meters wide, and there was no one inside at the time of the fire.
At around 12:30, the fire was completely extinguished.
The fire did not cause any human casualties, property damage is being counted.
The incident is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
