According to Hung Yen Provincial Police, recently, there has been a situation where some subjects call the Youth Union Secretaries of grassroots units, introducing themselves as people related to Youth Union work to request to buy documents, guide money transfers, showing signs of taking advantage of the name of the organization for profit.
Specifically, the subjects called the Secretary of the Youth Union of Phu Duc Commune Police, providing information about the provision of Youth Union documents and requesting transactions to be carried out. Through inspection and verification, this is inaccurate information, not belonging to the official implementation contents.
Hung Yen Provincial Police said that the methods of the subjects are usually direct phone calls, creating an urgent psychology, urging quick money transfers or providing unclear information about units and documents. This is a trick that easily causes confusion, especially at a time when Youth Union activities are being widely deployed.
The Youth Committee of Hung Yen Provincial Police affirmed: The deployment of documents and guidelines for Youth Union work is carried out through official channels (work groups, documents, internal information systems), without making phone calls requesting units to purchase documents.
The Provincial Police Youth Committee requests Youth Union branches and youth union members to raise their vigilance, absolutely not to carry out buying and selling, transferring money via calls of unknown origin. When detecting cases with similar signs, it is requested to promptly report to unit leaders for verification and handling, contributing to proactively preventing and stopping acts of taking advantage and fraud.
