According to records, many Facebook pages continuously post advertisements for "exam preparation materials for education officials" associated with information that Quang Tri is about to organize a recruitment exam for 416 education officials.
Posts often introduce a set of materials including content related to the Law on Education, the Law on Civil Servants, circulars, decrees and specialized knowledge to support review.
Some pages have a large number of followers, such as the "T.L. O. T. V. C. G. D" page with more than 105,000 followers, posting recruitment information from localities, including Quang Tri province. This page also advertises that if you want to order exam preparation materials for teachers and staff, please contact the available phone number.
Ms. T - a contract teacher at a secondary school in Quang Tri province - said that she contacted this page to buy it for 350,000 VND/set. The set of materials for sale includes content related to the Law on Education, the Law on Civil Servants, circulars, decrees, and specialized knowledge to support professional skills.
Ms. T informed that seeing the page claiming that these were exam preparation materials in Quang Tri, she also bought them to study, although she did not know the specific exam content.
In addition, there are accounts such as "V.C. T. T" organizing paid online exam preparation classes, posting videos introducing services for people preparing to take the education official exam in Quang Tri.
After buying, information about the sets of materials continued to spread in the teacher group, causing many other people to also come to these pages to ask to buy.
Notably, under each post there are many comments asking to buy. Interested people are instructed to text privately to receive quotes and detailed information.
Talking to a reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Vo Van Minh - Deputy Director of Quang Tri Department of Education and Training - said that he has grasped the fact that social networking sites are advertising and selling exam preparation materials related to the upcoming recruitment of education officials.
According to Mr. Minh, the documents being advertised and sold online are not official documents of the exam.
Currently, the exam content has not been announced, so the materials being advertised for sale have no basis to confirm that they are related to the upcoming entrance exam," Mr. Minh said.
Faced with this situation, the Department of Education and Training is requesting the police agency to investigate and clarify the activities of related groups and websites.
At the same time, the education sector also recommends that teachers be cautious in the face of unofficial information sources, avoid being scammed or losing money unjustly.
According to the plan, in the near future, the Department of Education and Training of Quang Tri province will publicly announce the content and scope of knowledge of the education civil servant recruitment exam.
