On the afternoon of June 6, Mr. Le Hoai Nam - Chairman of Phan Rang Ward People's Committee (Khanh Hoa province) - confirmed that a mahogany tree branch on 21 Thang 8 street suddenly broke and fell, hitting a pedestrian, causing the victim to be seriously injured.

Initial information, at noon on the same day, a large diameter acacia tree branch suddenly broke and fell onto the road on August 21, in Phan Rang ward.
At this time, Mr. T.V. T (born in 1982, residing in Dong Hai ward, Khanh Hoa province) was driving a motorbike with license plate 85AA-172. xx passing by when he was hit by a tree branch.
The incident caused the victim to be trapped under the tree trunk and the vehicle. Immediately after that, people reported to the local authorities and functional forces.
The Fire and Rescue Team of Area 8 under the Fire and Rescue Police Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police received the report and dispatched 1 rescue vehicle and 6 officers and soldiers to the scene to deploy rescue work.



At the scene, functional forces quickly used specialized equipment to cut and move the fallen trees.
After an urgent rescue process, the victim was taken out of the dangerous area and transferred to Saigon - Phan Rang Hospital for emergency treatment.
After completing the rescue and relief work, functional forces handed over the scene to Phan Rang Ward Police to continue verifying the cause of the incident and handle it according to regulations.
According to Mr. Le Hoai Nam, immediately after the incident occurred, the ward leaders quickly directed units to urgently visit and provide initial support to the victim's family. Initial information indicates that the victim suffered multiple injuries and burns due to a broken power line being hit by a falling tree branch.
Regarding the sudden breakage of an ancient acacia tree branch, Mr. Nam informed that preliminary inspection beforehand showed no signs of abnormality or risk of falling.
