Present in Ninh Phuc (Dong Hoa Lu ward, Ninh Binh) at this time, on the vast flower fields is the urgent and hurried working atmosphere of flower growers.
Hundreds of people are busy focusing on stages such as: spraying pesticides to prevent pests and diseases, weeding, cutting off flower buds, bending, pruning... so that flowers can grow well and bloom brilliantly right on the occasion of the upcoming Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.

To make flowers bloom on time for Tet, households here have applied the method of lighting up at night. This is a basic technique to turn night into day for flowers to develop as desired.
Mr. Vu Van Nga (a long-time flower grower in Ninh Phuc) shared that this year, due to the influence of the weather, the planting of Tet flowers is slower than planned. Therefore, flower growers must accelerate care and apply techniques to keep up with the schedule.
With nearly 4 hectares of flowers serving the upcoming Lunar New Year market, for more than 2 weeks now, my family has had to hire more people to actively take care of them, even having to add lighting at night to stimulate flowers to bloom right on time for Tet" - Mr. Nga said.

Not only expanding the scale, Mr. Nga's family is also one of the pioneers in applying high technology in Tet flower production. The entire garden is installed with automatic irrigation and sensor-controlled lighting with a total investment of more than 500 million VND.
“Previously, every morning, we had to hire people to water each flower bed, button the tops, and light the lamps manually. Now, just adjusting via phone, the system automatically works, helping the tree grow evenly, reducing labor while still ensuring technical standards” - Mr. Nga revealed.
The main flower varieties grown by Ninh Phuc flower villagers are star anise, chrysanthemums, gerberas, lilies, gladiolus... Currently, 100% of the flower growing area here is invested by people to install automatic irrigation systems and lighting systems.
Up to now, flowers have basically developed well and uniformly, and are expected to bloom in full bloom right on Tet" - Mr. Vu Ngoc Liem (a flower grower in Ninh Phuc) said.

Mr. Dien Van Nhan - Director of Ninh Phuc Flower Cooperative - said: "The flower growing profession brings good income to people. Over the past time, we have always been interested in the issue of transferring science and technology, supporting people with agricultural services, supporting seeds, and capital sources so that people have more motivation to stick with and develop the flower growing profession. We hope that the urgency and activeness in the care stage will help people have a successful flower crop.
Also according to Mr. Nhan, Ninh Phuc flower village currently has about nearly 20ha, this Tet crop, it is expected that flower prices will increase by 10-15% compared to every year because input costs are increasingly high. Besides, flower growing this year is also affected by rainy and storm weather, some areas have to be replanted and take more care than in previous years.

Currently, many traders have come to the garden to deposit. The price of bird's nest flowers is about 120,000 VND/pot, chrysanthemums from 4,000 - 6,000 VND/flower, gerberas from 30,000 - 40,000 VND/tree, chrysanthemums from 100,000 VND - 400,000 VND/pot, depending on the variety and size.
It's a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit.
