The set of 3 unique ancient banyan trees, valued at more than 25 billion VND, belongs to Mr. Nguyen Minh Hoat (born in 1980, residing in Vi Khe ward, Ninh Binh province).
Mr. Hoat said that the set of 3 ancient silkworms is a famous Southern silkworm variety, which he bought for the garden in 2019. After buying them, Mr. Hoat planted 3 trees under the ground to develop more, while facilitating the bending, creating, and coming up with ideas for tree shapes.

"All 3 banyan trees are about 100 years old. For those who are passionate about trees, it is known that ancient trees can see white markings on the trunk. This is a typical sign that only appears in old trees. The trunk of a perennial tree is often white and silver, the older it gets, the more it will wrinkle and shrink up into layers," said Mr. Hoat.
The set of 3 ancient banyan trees arranged by Mr. Hoat is prominent in the garden area of thousands of square meters. The ancient banyan tree in the middle is about 3.5m high; the branches are 4m wide, shaped like a dragon fruit; the remaining 2 trees are about 3.2m high and shaped like a trucart.

Sharing more about the care process for the 3 ancient banyan trees, Mr. Hoat said: "I have started putting the trees in pots for about 4 months now. In the first phase of putting the plant in a pot, it is necessary to take good care, pay attention to stabilizing the plant's roots and I continue to bend the plant to make the shape more complete. The banyan tree loves water, so every day I have to water it, using sandbags arranged around the root to both keep it moist and prevent the water from being splashed out while watering the tree".
According to Mr. Hoat, this set of 3 ancient banyan trees is being asked to buy by many people, some of whom have paid tens of billions of VND but he has not wanted to sell.
Evaluating the set of 3 ancient banyan trees of Mr. Hoat, artisan Nguyen Cong Khanh - Chairman of the ornamental plant Association of Vi Khe ward, Ninh Binh province said: "For those who play with trees like us, this is a rare set of trees, full of factors in size, age, aesthetics and technique. After many years of being attached to ornamental plants, I have seen that among tens of thousands of trees, there is only one precious tree, achieving such special value".
