More than 1,000 officials, soldiers, union members, youth, students, and people of Cao Bang province participated in the meeting to respond to the Action Month for Drug Prevention and Control 2026 and the Running Tournament "Joining hands to build communes and wards without drugs" held on June 27.
The program is organized by Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee in an online form, connected to the central bridge point in Hanoi and communes and wards in the province.
Attending the meeting at the provincial bridge point were Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Vu Hong Quang; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vu Dinh Quang, along with leaders of the People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, departments, agencies, branches, armed forces and a large number of officials, union members, youth, students.

The program is organized to respond to the Action Month for Drug Prevention and Control in 2026, International Day for Drug Prevention and Control and National Day for Drug Prevention and Control (June 26).
At the same time, launching the movement "Joining hands to build communes and wards without drugs", contributing to raising awareness and responsibility of all levels, sectors and people in drug prevention and control work.
At the Cao Bang provincial bridge point, delegates watched a live television program from the central bridge point with contents such as speeches by leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Party and State leaders; memorial service for victims of drug deaths, and officials who sacrificed in the fight against drugs.
At the same time, delegates participated in the launching ceremony and pressed the button to launch the movement "Joining hands to build communes and wards without drugs" nationwide.
Immediately after the rally, more than 300 athletes who are officials, civil servants, public employees, armed forces, union members, youth, students, members of running clubs and people in the province participated in the 3 km race.

Through sports activities, the Organizing Committee expects to spread the message of drug prevention and control, raise community awareness about the harmful effects of drugs, and at the same time encourage the movement of physical exercise and sports among the people.
At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded the First, Second, Third and Consolation prizes to athletes who achieved high results in the men's and women's categories.
