Accordingly, the project has a total route length of about 102km. The starting point is at Km8+500 (excluding the section overlapping Hanoi Ring Road 3 and the intersection between Hanoi - Thai Nguyen expressway and Hanoi Ring Road 3) in Thu Lam commune, Hanoi City.
The final section at Thanh Binh intersection, Thanh Thinh commune, Thai Nguyen province. The project has a total investment of about 19,000 billion VND.
The project includes two sections of the route. The first section from Hanoi to Thai Nguyen, from Ring Road 3 intersection to Tan Long intersection is 62km long. This route is expanded from 4 lanes (Hanoi - Thai Nguyen expressway) currently to 6 lanes, design speed 100 - 120km/hour. The Thai Nguyen - Cho Moi section is 40km long, extended from 2 lanes currently to 4 lanes, design speed 80-100km/hour.
According to Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee, the project has been agreed upon and agreed upon by the Vietnam Road Administration and the existing investor on the policy of complete construction investment according to the PPP method.
Currently, the Department of Construction Infrastructure is presiding over advising on the content of assigning management and transferring infrastructure assets for the Hanoi - Thai Nguyen expressway section.
The project being implemented will soon realize the policy of completing the CT.07 expressway from Hanoi to Cao Bang.
Previously, the Ministry of Construction had an official dispatch agreeing to assign the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee to be the competent agency to organize the research and investment in completing the CT.07 expressway section Hanoi - Thai Nguyen - Cho Moi in the form of public-private partnership (PPP).
