Mr. Nguyen Van Chinh said that on August 31, he moved from Bac Ninh to Phu Ly. Compared to previous holidays, this trip was more convenient, only congested in some sections in front of the toll station.
The density of vehicles is quite high, but in general the road is still clear, vehicles move slowly and keep a distance. Some vehicles swerving and squeezing into the distance between the two vehicles are both unsafe and easily cause traffic jams," Mr. Chinh said.

According to people, during holidays and Tet in the past, congestion on the roads to the southern provinces often occurred due to a sudden increase in the number of vehicles. This year, people proactively divided their time and chose many routes to travel, so traffic pressure was reduced.
However, when the density of vehicles increases, the fact that many drivers actively reduce speed and maintain a safe distance also makes travel time longer than usual. At some times, vehicles still appear in the emergency stop lane.

Regarding the situation of heavy traffic and slow movement on the Phap Van - Cau Gie expressway towards Ninh Binh on August 30, Mr. Oanh said that congestion only occurred in the morning, and traffic returned to normal in the afternoon.
According to the Traffic Police Department, most drivers have complied with regulations on keeping a safe distance. Compared to previous days, the situation of speeding, encroaching on lanes, continuously changing lanes or going into the emergency stop lane has decreased.
