HCMC - On the afternoon of May 4, the flow of vehicles from the eastern provinces to HCMC was crowded after the holiday, but traffic at the gateway was still smooth, without serious congestion.

On the afternoon of May 4, after a long holiday of April 30 and May 1, thousands of cars lined up on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway, heading towards Ho Chi Minh City.

At the expressway approach near the An Phu intersection (Thu Duc City), there was a situation where vehicles moved slowly, sometimes slightly congested due to the number of vehicles waiting at red lights.

On the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh Expressway, from Nuoc Trong Bridge to Long Thanh Bridge, the large number of vehicles slows down.

The intersections along the entire expressway have traffic police on duty and regulated remotely to avoid prolonged congestion.

In particular, at the An Phu intersection - the intersection between the expressway and Mai Chi Tho Street, the Traffic Police of the Cat Lai Team (PC08 Department, Ho Chi Minh City Police) were present early, proactively dividing traffic and supporting people to move safely and conveniently.

According to the authorities, although the traffic volume has increased compared to normal days, thanks to the effective coordination between units and the proactiveness of the people in choosing a reasonable travel time frame, the traffic situation during peak times after the festival remains stable.
