The approach road and bridge project across Cam stream belongs to Tien Bo commune (old), now Thai Binh commune, invested by the Yen Son district Construction Investment Project Management Board. The project is worth nearly 12 billion VND, constructed by a joint venture of Thanh Phat Production and Trading Company Limited - Constrexim No. 8 Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company.

Recorded by PV in mid-July 2025, the project under construction is located across the entrance to the center of Tien Bo commune (old). At the construction site, there are only 4 workers constructing the bridge piers. Machinery and construction materials are lying around.
The temporary bridge opened to serve people's travel during the construction process has also been blocked. Although the two ends of the project have signs restricting vehicles (except motorbikes) from crossing the temporary road, in reality, they cannot pass.
At the time of the project, the reporter recorded the scene of many vehicles entering the center of Tien Bo commune (old) forced to turn around, or take a shortcut through the original Tau bridge. However, this road section has just been opened, with signs prohibiting vehicles with a load capacity of 3 - 5 tons.

The construction of the bridge over the Cam stream is sluggish, while there is no temporary road, causing local people to be extremely upset.
Mr. Trieu Viet Duc (Rap hamlet, Thai Binh commune) said that there was a spillway here in the past but it had seriously degraded. When there is a project to build a new bridge, local people are very excited. However, they are slow to build, and now there are no temporary roads for traffic, so it is very difficult.

"The project has been under construction for 4 or 5 months now. When it was first built, there was a temporary bridge for people to cross, the bridge was small and uncertain, so it was difficult to travel. Even if it had been 20 days, the temporary road would not have been possible.
This is the main road leading to the commune center, there are schools but now they are blocked, greatly affecting people's travel," said Mr. Duc.
"The bridge construction project has only 2-3 workers a day, the largest number of them are only 4, it is ununderstandtable. Occasionally, there are only old excavators, which are broken and broken," Mr. Duc said indignantly.
According to Mr. Duc, many wood workshops are paralyzed in the central area of the commune due to the lack of temporary roads. Hopefully, the authorities will urge the contractor to speed up the progress to complete the project.
Similarly upset, Mr. Tran Manh Dinh (Thai Binh commune) said that a few months ago, his family's wood truck overturned while passing through the temporary road of the project, causing tens of millions of VND in damage. Up to now, when the temporary road is no longer there, traveling is very difficult.

"On other roads leading to the commune center, motorbikes and cars can go a little further. But heavy trucks have to accept it.
They did a project but now there is no temporary road. The construction is slow, so everyone is upset. I have submitted a petition to the local government," said Mr. Dinh.
On July 22, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, a leader of the Management Board of the Yen Son District Construction Investment Project said that the unit had requested the contractor to speed up the progress.
"When the bridge abutment is completed, the temporary road will be reopened to the people, according to the commitment, they will be able to travel around July 25. When constructing the bridge piers, it was impossible to move because the items were temporarily close to the road.
The progress is still achieved. The unit is closely urging the contractor and sending 1 officer to supervise to ensure the construction," the leader added.
