On July 3, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Hoang Ngoc Dan - Chairman of Dong Hoi Ward People's Committee (Quang Tri province) said that the last household still facing problems in site clearance work under component project 2 - Nhat Le 3 Bridge and roads at both ends of the bridge has agreed to the compensation plan, received compensation money and committed to handing over the site for construction deployment.
According to Mr. Dan, this is the result after a long time of local authorities and functional forces persistently meeting, dialoguing, propagating, and mobilizing the remaining households to comply with the policy of land acquisition to serve the key transportation project.
We have been to each household since morning to mobilize the remaining households to hand over the land. By tonight (July 2), the households have finally agreed to the compensation plan and agreed to hand over the land," Chairman of Dong Hoi Ward People's Committee informed.

According to Dong Hoi Ward People's Committee, as of July 1, the project still has 7 households and individuals who have not complied with Land Recovery Decision No. 1975/QD-UBND dated June 22, 2026 of the Chairman of Dong Hoi Ward People's Committee.
Before the request to accelerate the project progress, leaders of the Ward People's Committee and representatives of specialized departments, the Provincial Police force and related units directly went to each household to dialogue, listen to their thoughts and aspirations; and at the same time explain the provisions of the law on land, compensation, support, and resettlement policies as well as the meaning of the project for local socio-economic development.
Through the mobilization process, people's recommendations were received and answered based on the provisions of law and the actual project implementation. Previously, 4 households agreed to receive compensation and support money and committed to handing over the land. By the evening of July 2, the household finally agreed on a compensation plan.

Currently, Nhat Le 3 bridge has completed about 95% of the construction volume. The main bridge part is basically completed, only waiting for the clean ground in the East to construct the access road and complete the entire project.
Nhat Le 3 bridge spans the Nhat Le River, belongs to the Coastal Road and Nhat Le 3 Bridge Project, has a total length of more than 2.8km, a total investment of about 1,300 billion VND, implemented in the 2022-2026 period. When put into use, the project will contribute to connecting the two banks of the Nhat Le River, reducing the load on the existing transportation system, completing urban infrastructure and creating motivation for the development of urban space and coastal tourism of Quang Tri province.
