Started in 2023, Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway (phase 1), belonging to group A project, is over 104km long. The project has a total investment of 13,800 billion VND. The expressway has a starting point connecting to the Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressway, and an ending point in Tan Quang commune.
The project section through Tuyen Quang province (old) is over 77km long, worth 8,800 billion VND. The section through Ha Giang province (old) is over 27km long, with a total investment of over 5,000 billion VND.
According to PV's records, after more than 2 years of construction, the shape of the trillion-dong expressway across Tuyen Quang has gradually emerged. Many sections of the route have been paved, asphalted, and technical infrastructure items are being carried out.
Bridges, culverts, and resettlement areas along the entire route are also being deployed synchronously.
With the goal of opening the route on May 19, hundreds of workers and machinery and equipment are mobilized to accelerate the project progress.
According to the report of the Project Management Board for Construction Investment Project No. 1, the project currently has a total of 13 construction packages that have been and are being implemented.
The total accumulated construction value reached 3, 399.6/5, 991.72 billion VND, reaching 56.7% of the contract value. Construction work was deployed in more than 119 fronts.
At package No. 19 of the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway Project (phase 1), it is entering the final sprint phase.
Mr. Vu Ngoc Oanh - Commander of package 19, Truong Son Construction Corporation said that to speed up the progress, the unit has mobilized 130 machinery and equipment and over 200 engineers, performing 3 shifts of 4 crews.
The highest goal is to ensure progress and soon hand over the project to the investor.
After completion, the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway project will open up opportunities to maximize potential and remove "bottlenecks" in regional interconnected traffic.
From there, creating favorable conditions to connect Tuyen Quang province with other key economic regions.
The expressway project passing through Tuyen Quang province (old) is over 77km long.
This route includes a section of 12.5 km (8.1 km newly opened, 4.4km upgraded from 2 lanes to 4 lanes) from the Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressway intersection to the QL37 intersection. The remaining section from Km 12+500 to Km 77+00, 64.5 km long, is under construction on a scale of 2 lanes.
The section through Ha Giang province (old) has a total length of over 27km, invested and built with 4 lanes.
