On May 6, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Council informed that the unit had just issued a Resolution on the decision on the policy of converting forest use to other purposes for the additional area to implement the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot expressway project.
The forest proposed to change its purpose of use has a total area of 6.94 hectares, located on the administrative boundaries of 3 communes of Krong Bong and M'Drak districts.
The Provincial People's Council assigned the Provincial People's Committee to organize the implementation of the Resolution, responsible for the legality and accuracy of the data, forest area, and dossier proposing to change forest use purposes to ensure compliance with the provisions of law.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Council Committees, the Provincial People's Council Delegation and the Provincial People's Council Delegation supervise the implementation.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee submitted a document and draft resolution requesting competent authorities to decide on the policy of converting forest use to other purposes to implement the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot expressway project.
