When the regional connecting road project was implemented, Mr. Tran Van Duc and many other households in Phuc Thuan commune were in the area of land clearance. At first, when he had not been granted resettlement land, Mr. Duc had to stay at his younger brother's house.
"After the resettlement, the family of 5 moved here to build a house to live in. They thought life would be stable but have struggled to make ends meet. In Phuc Thuan 2 resettlement area, many items are still messy, without electricity, lighting, and trees. Because the old house had all the land cleared, I had to move here. Many families are still trying to stay in their old houses, but it is very difficult here," said Mr. Duc.
According to Mr. Duc, the resettlement area has not been connected to electricity, so when moving out, they have to pay 2 million VND. The family pulled the electricity from the cooperative for use. The temporary ring is also dangerous. For domestic water, it is necessary to dig wells for use. To ensure safety, the family had to invest in additional filters.

According to Mr. Duc, people in the resettlement area hope to soon complete the infrastructure. This is the core for people to stabilize their lives and have a stable home to start a business.
While starting to build a house, Mr. Do Manh Tuyen still could not help but worry when the Phuc Thuan 2 resettlement area was not yet completed. Many unsatisfactory living conditions made him and his family worried.
"I am currently building a house to stabilize my life. The power line still has to be connected to the neighbor and then pulled back for use. Because the project has just been moved to a resettlement area, there is still a mess and shortage of many things. Hopefully, in the near future, this place will be completed so that everyone has guaranteed living conditions. Like now, there is no electricity or water, and no trees can be planted," said Mr. Tuyen.

On February 16, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Anh Khoi - Vice Chairman of Phuc Thuan Commune People's Committee said that there are 2 resettlement areas of the regional linkage road in the commune.
"In the resettlement area of Quan Cay hamlet, fire prevention and fighting and tree items have not been completed yet. The transformer stations have not yet been energized, and people are using well water to drill water.
In response to the people's feedback, the locality has reported to competent authorities. In the coming time, it will be completed to ensure the lives of households," the leader added.
The route connecting the Thai Nguyen - Bac Giang - Vinh Phuc region is more than 40 km long with a total investment of more than 4,000 billion VND. Pho Yen City (Thai Nguyen) was assigned to be the investor to build 10 resettlement areas with a value of more than 568 billion VND.
This is home to about 300 households subject to site clearance in the area. Up to now, the regional connecting road has been basically completed, but many resettlement areas in the area are still unfinished, causing difficulties for people.
