Scrap yard fire threatens to spread to motorbike warehouse and houses

    The fire broke out at around 1 p.m. on January 20 at a scrap yard on My Phuoc Tan Van Street, Phu Loi Ward, Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong Province.

    Initial information, at the above time, a fire suddenly broke out inside a thousand square meter scrap yard on My Phuoc Tan Van street. When discovering the fire, people used on-site fire fighting equipment to try to put out the fire but were unsuccessful.

    The scrap yard contained a lot of rags and flammable materials, so the fire flared up and gradually spread. The fire spread to the warehouse containing dozens of motorbikes and the houses next door.

    The owner of the motorbike warehouse asked people to quickly move dozens of motorbikes to a safe area. Nearby businesses and houses also had to move their assets to prevent the fire from spreading.

    The Fire Police had to mobilize 5 fire trucks and dozens of soldiers to the scene to put out the fire. A fire truck from a nearby industrial park also came to help control the fire.

    By 2:30 p.m. the same day, the authorities had controlled the fire and prevented it from spreading to the neighboring area. The police are currently completely extinguishing the fire and investigating the cause of the fire.
