Tien Giang - The fire broke out at a clothing store in Cai Be district in the early morning of April 28, causing heavy property damage.

According to initial information, at around 3:30 a.m. on April 28, a fire broke out at a clothes store on Provincial Road 869 in Hau Hoa Hamlet (Hau Thanh Commune, Cai Be District, Tien Giang Province).

The fire started from an electric pole, then spread to this facility.

When the fire was discovered, people used a burner to put out the fire but failed. The fire then broke out, spread to the inside of a clothing store and spread to a warehouse containing plastic cabinets, desks, and water tanks of another house.

As soon as the news was received, Hau Thanh Commune Police force coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Cai Be area (Tien Giang Provincial Police) to mobilize forces and vehicles to actively put out the fire.

About 1 hour after the fire was controlled, it did not spread to residential areas and by 6:00 a.m. on April 28, the fire was completely extinguished. The fire did not cause any human casualties, but most of the property at the clothing store was severely damaged.

Currently, the police are verifying and clarifying the cause of the fire.
