Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh has just signed Official Dispatch No. 35/CD-TTg dated April 10, 2025 of the Prime Minister on the house fire at 209/3 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street (Ward 4, My Tho City, Tien Giang Province).
The dispatch clearly stated that at around 1:30 a.m. on April 10, 2025, a house fire broke out at 209/3 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street (Ward 4, My Tho City, Tien Giang Province), killing 4 people in a family. On behalf of the Government and the Prime Minister, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh sent his condolences to the relatives and families of the victims.
Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh also directed Tien Giang People's Committee to direct the organization of attentive and timely visits to encourage, support material and spiritual support, create the best conditions to help stabilize the accommodation and life for the victims' families; closely coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security to urgently investigate the cause of the fire, clarify the responsibilities of the relevant organizations and individuals; strictly handle violations (if any) in accordance with the law.
In addition, it is also required the Minister of Public Security, Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities to continue to strictly implement the Prime Minister's instructions on fire prevention and fighting, especially during the upcoming Victory Day and Labor International 1.5 holidays.
The Minister of Public Security directed to review and summarize and report to the Prime Minister for the results of consideration and handling of responsibilities for the heads at all levels and industries in the direction of directing, managing and operating to occur fires and explosions, causing serious consequences in the area and management field since the implementation of Directive No. 01/CT-TTg dated 3.2023 on fire prevention and fighting solutions.

Earlier, in the early morning of the same day, a house owned by Ms. H.T.T.T at 209/3 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street (Ward 4, My Tho City) caught fire, killing 4 people.
