Regarding the fire, 4 deaths at the house No. 209/3 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street (Ward 4, My Tho City, Tien Giang Province) at dawn on April 10, talking to the Lao Dong Newspaper reporter on the afternoon of April 11, a leader of the People's Committee of My Tho City, said that the People's Committee of My Tho City will help rebuild the house for the children of the victim who died in the fire. The total funding for rebuilding the house is about VND 100 million, from the state budget capital and a donor contribution.

Tien Giang Study Encouragement Association will also support all the remaining tuition fees for children of the victim to finish college. My Tho Labor Federation, the Union of Thu Khoa Huan Primary School, the school and a sponsors will support 6 million VND/month for the victim's children to cover during the completion of the final university program.
The My Tho City Labor Federation also supported 10 million VND and the Trade Union of Thu Khoa Huan Primary School and the school's collective also supported 15.3 million VND for the victim's child.
Previously, on the evening of April 10, on behalf of the leaders of Tien Giang province, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dieu - Vice Chairman of Tien Giang Provincial People's Committee and the leaders of My Tho City People's Committee visited the family, providing material and spiritual support to the family members. Tien Giang province supports 25 million VND/dead person.

The four victims who died after the fire above include: Ms. H.T.T.T (born in 1976), Mr. N.M.H (born in 1968, Mr. H is Ms. T's husband), Ms. H.T.N.D (born in 1978) and N.H.K.D (born in 2007, daughter of Ms. D).
Immediately after the fire caused 4 deaths, Standing Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh directed Tien Giang People's Committee to organize thoughtful and timely visits, promptly encourage and support material and spiritual support, create the best conditions to help stabilize the accommodation and life for the victims' families; closely coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security to urgently investigate the cause of the fire, clarify the responsibilities of the relevant organizations and individuals; strictly handle violations (if any) in accordance with the law.
The Deputy Prime Minister also requested the Ministers of Public Security and Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities to continue to strictly implement the Prime Minister's instructions on fire prevention and fighting, especially during the upcoming April 30 and International Labor Day holidays.
