On the afternoon of December 1, information from the leader of Nghi Phong commune, Vinh city, Nghe An province said that a fire was happening in the area.
"Up to now (4:30 p.m.), the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police force, Nghe An Provincial Police are urgently extinguishing a fire in the commune" - the leader of Nghi Phong Commune People's Committee informed.
According to this leader, the fire broke out at around 3:00 p.m. on December 1 at a plastic scrap factory in Hamlet 9, Nghi Phong Commune.
As soon as the fire was discovered, many people shouted, put out the fire and reported it to the local authorities.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police force of Nghe An Province mobilized many specialized vehicles and officers and soldiers to quickly arrive and extinguish the fire.
“The scrap yard is located in a separate area and far from residential areas. Initially, it was determined that there were no human casualties,” said the leader of Nghi Phong commune.
