A major fire accompanied by many explosions has just occurred at a parking lot on Nguyen Thi Nhuan Street, An Phu Dong Ward, causing panic among local residents. Firefighting and rescue police are trying to control the fire.
At around 11am on September 27, people living on Nguyen Thi Nhuan Street, Quarter 9, An Phu Dong Ward suddenly heard many consecutive loud explosions, accompanied by a column of black smoke rising tens of meters high.
Checking at the scene, people discovered a fire burning fiercely inside the nearby parking lot.

Immediately after receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Ho Chi Minh City Police quickly dispatched many specialized fire trucks to the scene to control the fire from many sides. An Phu Dong Ward Police also coordinated to blockade a section of Nguyen Thi Nhuan Street to serve the fire fighting work.
Firefighting encountered many difficulties due to large fires, high temperatures and the risk of the fire spreading to surrounding areas.

Initial records show that a 45-seat tourist car was burned down along with many tire shells. There are currently no official statistics on the total number of damaged vehicles and assets.
The authorities are continuing to make efforts to completely extinguish the fire and investigate the cause of the fire.
