On the evening of June 2, a major fire broke out at a company on Provincial Road 391, Hung Dao Commune, Tu Ky District (Hai Duong). At around 9pm, Hai Duong residents discovered a fire breaking out fiercely from the company's factory area, then quickly spread.
The thick black smoke column rose tens of meters high, the entire factory was burning like a "sea of fire", making it possible for people to see it from afar. In the early morning, the fire was controlled. Initial cause is believed to be an electrical short circuit
Immediately after receiving the report, the Hai Duong Provincial Police force dispatched many fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to coordinate with local forces to put out the fire.
At the time of the fire, the company had many workers working overtime. The authorities urgently deployed fire fighting measures, prevented the fire from spreading to the nearby workshop and ensured the safety of workers.
Talking to Lao Dong newspaper, a representative of Hung Dao commune said that the incident had been received by the authorities of Hai Duong province and coordinated to handle according to regulations. The cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
