According to a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper at 2:30 p.m. on November 30, the authorities extinguished the fire at house number 73, lane 112, Me Tri Thuong street (Tu Liem ward, Hanoi).
Ms. Hoa - a person living near the scene - said the fire broke out at around 1:00 p.m. the same day at the 8-storey house mentioned above.
"S highly rising smoke accompanied by many explosions on the upper floors. People around shouted for those in the house to run outside" - Ms. Hoa said.
When the smoke and fire broke out, people immediately reported it to the authorities.

Upon receiving the report, the authorities dispatched 4 fire trucks from the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 16 and Area 2 to the scene to perform the task.

The fire was quickly controlled by the authorities.
