Information from Phuong Son Ward People's Committee (Bac Ninh province) said that at about 6:30 pm on February 22nd (January 6th), a fire occurred at a house combined with business in Thum Cu residential group.
According to many local people, the fire broke out from a tube house with an area of about 70 m2 and quickly spread to a warehouse area of nearly 200 m2.
Because the warehouse contained some goods, cardboard, nylon paper and household appliances, the fire flared up strongly accompanied by a lot of smoke.
Immediately after receiving the news from the people, the Fire and Rescue Police Department (Provincial Police) urgently deployed forces and vehicles to control and extinguish the fire, preventing it from spreading to neighboring households.
At the time of the fire, the homeowner had gone on a spring outing and no one was home. Functional agencies are statistically analyzing property damage, investigating and clarifying the cause of the fire.
From the above incident, the Fire and Rescue Police Department recommends that people when leaving their homes during holidays and Tet, need to check and cut off all unnecessary electrical equipment; turn off the main circuit breaker if possible; arrange goods and flammable materials such as paper, plastic... neatly, away from heat sources and electricity sources.
Do not store large quantities of flammable materials in houses combined with business when fire safety conditions are not ensured.
