The fire at the wood company factory occurred at about 10:20 PM on June 9, in Quarter 1, Binh Co Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
Initial information, at the above time, a fire suddenly broke out in the factory. People in the company used fire fighting equipment to put out the fire but failed.
The fire became stronger and stronger, spreading to the surrounding area. The incident was quickly reported to functional agencies.
At the scene, the fire brightened the sky red, columns of smoke from the fire rose tens of meters high, people standing far away could still see it.
Upon receiving the news, Ho Chi Minh City Police dispatched specialized fire fighting vehicles and many officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire.
By 11:20 PM on the same day, the fire was still raging fiercely. At the scene, the fire had damaged many properties, and part of the corrugated iron roof of the factory collapsed.
Witnesses at the scene said that the fire occurred in the paint warehouse area. Smoke from the fire poured into people's houses near the scene.
Fire and Rescue Police, Ho Chi Minh City Police made efforts to control the fire, prevent it from spreading, and completely extinguish the fire.
