Talking to reporters, the leader of the People's Committee of Au Lau ward (Lao Cai province) said that at about 12 noon today (March 7), a fire occurred at Tinh Anh rice shop.
The initial cause was determined to be an electrical short circuit in the kitchen area. The fire damaged some cooking utensils and equipment but did not cause any casualties.
Immediately after discovering the incident, the facility owner and staff used on-site fire extinguishers to put out the fire, promptly controlled the fire, and prevented it from spreading.
Upon receiving the news, the Au Lau Ward Police force and the Fire and Rescue Police Department (PC07) of Lao Cai Provincial Police also quickly arrived at the scene to inspect and handle the incident.
According to local people, since 2015, Tinh Anh rice shop in Yen Bai mountain town has been visited by many customers, especially drivers.
